Food & Beverage Team Leader

Purpose of Role

Thoresby Hall Hotel & Spa is Grade I-listed mansion on the edge of Sherwood Forest with 221 bed rooms. We aim to do everything we can to help our guests relax, unwind and fully enjoy the fantastic facilities we have to offer. The dining experience at Thoresby Hall Hotel is second to none. We offer three different types of restaurant each with their own distinctive style of menu all lovingly created with culinary creativity and expertise.

Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, this role involves taking responsibility for welcoming guests to the restaurant and bar areas in a friendly and helpful manner, managing the team and ensuring that all standards are met with attention to detail.

As a Food & Beverage Team Leader you will be required to do the following:

- Lead a team to deliver a fantastic service to all of our guests at all times of the day and evening, ensuring that all of our guests expectations are exceeded
- You will also supervise the teams during the shift, allocating daily duties to the team and keeping them motivated.
- You will be passionate about beverage and delivering amazing hospitality to our guests.
- Through regular team training, you will ensure that your team have excellent food & beverage knowledge that they are then able to pass onto our guests in a passionate and engaging manner.
- You must be organised, an excellent communicator, a hands on supervisor who has excellent attention to detail.
- Experience of working in a similar quality hotel is an advantage but not essential.

 

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role would be a significant advantage.

The ideal candidate will possess an ability to adapt to a contrast of restaurants and bars. You will be a good leader, being able to be consciously competent about who you are developing and why. You will have a desire to get the very best from each individual in your team and achieve greatness.
