Housekeeping Manager

Purpose of Role

Alvaston Hall Hotel are currently recruiting for a Manager to join and lead their Housekeeping team.

The successful candidate will be required to lead a busy Housekeeping Team who look after over 500 guests, delivering a high quality and consistent standard of cleanliness across all of the Hotel’s 260 bedrooms and the public areas.

Being part of the Hotel’s key Leadership Team, you will also be involved in all main decisions, including all of those in our current journey to 4 AA stars.

Requirements

The successful candidate will require strong management and communication skills to ensure the smooth running of the housekeeping team for the different demands and challenges of the breaks. With the ability to motivate your team in an ever changing environment, whilst seeking continuous improvement, you’ll be used to going that ‘extra mile’ to ensure guest satisfaction in a ‘hands-on’ role. You will ensure that customer service standards are both maintained and improved via the continual monitoring and development of team members and their work environment.

The ideal applicant will have experience in a similar role; possess excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, customer service skills, the drive to succeed by meeting and exceeding results and ability to take the initiative.
Experience in developing team members will be a significant advantage.
