Contract Details

Our business is not seasonal and we are open 12 months a year (with the exception of some sites which have a short shut down period during the early part of the year) We are therefore able to offer, (and quite unusually within the industry), a full time permanent position.

Upon starting with us a trial period will be agreed, and throughout this period your role will be assessed, once you have successfully completed the trial period, which may be extended if your performance has not reached the required standard, a full time contract will commence.

If for any reason you want to terminate your employment with us a two week notice period is required.

To support the full time role with us you have the benefit of accruing holiday entitlement which can be taken throughout the year (with the exception of high season) once agreed with your line manager.

At Warner Leisure Hotels we also offer individual development programmes, allowing you the opportunity to progress within your chosen discipline. Support, guidance and training will become part of your role on a weekly basis

Salary

All contracts with us are PAYE and paid directly into a UK Bank Account on a fortnightly week in hand basis.

Hourly rates vary due to experience and role variations and are agreed on an individual basis. The starting wage is circa £4.93 per hour, based on a 39 hour week.

Accommodation

Whilst this is not part of the contract offer with us, you can take the option of a room within our team accommodation. A small weekly charge will be deducted from your salary for this and vary depending on location, the hourly deduction for this circa £0.80 per hour.

Job Specification

Your role with us would be based on a 39 hour week. This could vary during the year due to various reasons, e.g. increased workload due to rehearsals / team cover, or decreased due to the team not being required due to solus breaks or similar.

Daytime duties would consist of hosting activities, events, competitions, excursions, or socialising with guests.

Evening duties would consist of socialising and social dancing with the guests, hosting the evening, DJ-ing (if appropriate) performing in 2- 5 shows per week and operating sound and lights for visiting artistes.

For the majority of our locations the role will include a mix daytime and evening duties. However the following locations offer a slight variation on the role:

Bembridge Coast & Norton Grange - Isle of Wight
And
Corton Coastal Resort and Gunton Hall - Lowersoft
The Performance team on the Isle of Wight is a touring team and deliver a diverse evening (and some daytime) product which consists mainly of performing within production shows, covering both locations.

The daytime and evening hosts are based predominantly at one location, and the role does not include performing in shows.
